Describes the sidewall appearance. Examples: BSW= Black Side Wall, WSW = White Side Wall OWL = Outlined White Letters.
The load index (LI) is a 2 or 3 digit number that corrolates to the maximum amount of weight the tire can carry. For example, a tire with a load index of 87 indicates that the tire can carry a maximim load of 1,201 lbs. In the case of our example the 87 identifies the tires ability to carry a maximum of 1,201 lbs. So 4 tires will carry a maximum of 4,804 lbs. Refer to your vehicle owner's manual for the recommended minimim Load Index. It is not recommended to install tires with a lower Load Index. By doing so, this could cause your tires to be overloaded thus potentially causing a blowout.
Speed Ratings (SR) are based on laboratory tests and indicates the maximum speed the tire can achieve. These tests are based on limited time trials. Higher speed rating tires typically will yield better handling capabilities, but may often result in lower mileage. Refer to your vehicle owner's manual for the recommended minimum Speed Rating. It is not recommended to install a tire with a lower speed rating as it could affect the handling of your vehicle. It is important to note that speed ratings only apply to tires that have not been damaged, altered, under-inflated or overloaded. Additionally, most tire manufacturers maintain that a tire that has been cut or punctured no longer retains the tire manufacturer's original speed rating, even after being repaired because the tire manufacturer can't control the quality of the repair.
|Load Range/Ply Rating||Not Available||
Ply Rating is related to the max load capacity. This value can be defined with a letter or number. The higher the number/letter, the higher the load capacity.
To help consumers evaluate their tires, the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) created the Uniform Tire Quality Grading System (UTQG). The UTQG rates tires are rated on their tread-wear, traction performance, and temperature resistance. The grade for each of these can be found on the sidewall of your tire (except for winter tires and certain light truck tires). Click here for more information.
|Max Single Load(lbs)||1521||The maximum load this tire will support. Remember to multiply this number by the number of tires installed on your vehicle to get the maximum carrying capacity. This number is directly related to the Load Index.|
|Max Single Air Pressure(PSI)||44||The maximum air pressure this tire will support. This does not represent the amount of air pressure your tires should have at all times. Consult with your owner's manual to determine the best air pressure you should use for your vehicle.|
|Tread Depth||11.0||The amount of tread on the tire. Once the tire is worn to 2/32nds, it is considered fully used and should be replaced at that time. Most tires will have tire indicators in the grooves of the tire to help you determine when the tires are worn down to 2/32nds.|
Nondirectional - most common, same tread pattern on inside & outside of the tire. Can be rotated to all four corners of vehicle. Asymmetrical - tread pattern is different on the inside to the outside of the tire, and must be mounted properly. Can be rotated to all four corners of the vehicle. Directional tires - roll in only one direction, must be mounted properly. Once mounted they must remain on the same side of the vehicle, and only be rotated front to rear.
|Rim Width Range||5.5-7.5||The approved wheel rim width range this tire will support.|
|Measured Rim Width||6.0||The recommended wheel width as recommended by the tire manufacturer to get the best wear us performance for this tire.|
|Section Width||8.2||The measurement from sidewall to sidewall.|
|Tread Width||Not Available||The measurement from one side of the tread to the other side of the tread.|
|Overall Diameter||26.5||The height of the tire when fully inflated.|

Smooth and soundless
These are so much better than my last tires. Really happy I spent a Little more to get a smooth ride
Durable and stable highway tires
Definitely good tires, I drove through a blinding thunderstorm with high winds and standing water with the cruise control set at 75mph. The tires hold the road fine and felt like they could push through even faster. I really wish I could get an answer as to where I can go if I need to use the warranty/road hazzard I purchased.
Get these tires and you don't have to think about tires anymore
Great price from tires-easy - install them and forget them - they do everything well
i like em
drove 40 miles in snow storm made it quiet
Nice ride on a 2011 Toyota Sienna XLE
The Continental TrueContact tires perform very well on our 2011 Toyota Sienna XLE. The ride is quiet and handling is as good as ever. I definitely didn't want road noise and these tires did not disappoint. The car is driven in Chicagoland and we've had a snowy winter this year. No issues with handling in the snow. So far very satisfied with these tires.
Purchased Continental TrueContact for a 2012 Honda Odyssey. after two months these are a great riding quiet tire.

Smooth riding tires. Great pirce
so far so good
Decent tire, quiet, good grip, and seems to be wearing slowly so far. Gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because it is a heavy tire, so my gas mileage has dropped about 10 pct since installation. But this will get better as the tire wears and gets lighter.
Tires are great / Supplier service wonderful.
Great tires. Ride is softer and improved over original equipment. Price is very good for a tire with this long mileage. My original Continentals were still good at 60,000 miles when changed but I was going on along trip and put on new. This is the second time I bought tires from tires-easy and their service has been exemplary-best tire prices, fast shipping, good advice. Don't hesitate to buy tires this way- I saved hundreds over dealer prices.
Early signs look great but slightly disappointed in mpg
After about 3 months and 2,500 miles the TrueContacts are doing quite well overall. No winter or snow experience yet. (I bought them in early April when a great Tires-easy deal combined with Continental rebate made them too good to pass up. Normally I buy tires in fall to be fresh for that winter.) All good things touted with this tire are true with the exception of fuel economy. The ride is quiet and comfortable but not mushy and handling and cornering are as relatively good as it gets for a T-rated touring tire. Dry and wet traction are top-notch so far. Too soon to tell about treadwear. If they hold up well in their first winter in a few months I will be happy. But the alleged low rolling resistance has not impressed thus far. Might be due to the full tread---new tires always get a hair less mpg than worn tires---but the fuel economy is at best the equal of the old Hercules tires in the same driving conditions. And that's with summer gas, too. Will track this as time goes on and the tread wears down. Could wind up a 5-star tire if the mpg improves. Recommended.

These tires are great tires for the price.
Great tire - long mileage , smooth riding at a good price.
Great tires, best prices out there, and fast shipping.
I bought for spring, summer, and fall. I have winter/snow tires. These tires are very quiet and take potholes awesome.
the best van tires
Very god value for performance and wear. I have a 2010 AWD Sienna and I will continue to use them. Only 2 negatives : noisy in general and stones in the treads.
Fantastic rain and snow traction. Every aspect of tires-easy.com is top notch. Thank You
Great tire so far
Have put 5000 mile son them so far. Wet traction is great and road noise is almost non existent. I would recommend these tire to anyone.
Love the tires!
These tires ride and handle great! Would give them 5 stars if they had a bit more traction in the sand. I live in an area with bad roads and I got stuck one night, but I guess I shouldn't expect too much from a Prius.
Great Tires, Great Price, Great Service
My tires were delivered in a very short amount of time. They were exactly what I ordered and were in good condition. I now have 10k on them and have seen very little wear at all. Actually, they don't look like they have worn at all. They provide a quiet ride and great dry & wet handling. I drive a 2015 Honda Odyssey & live in Florida so haven't had a chance to test them in snow. Go figure?!? Overall I could not be happier with my purchase and the service I have recived form tires-easy.com
Continental True Contact are great especially in turns
I note that other tires have not performed in turns as well as the Continental tires I have had on my mini vans and cars. Replaced my factory Chevy OEMS, with Continental at first opportunity, and immediate improvement, better than original OEM tires when they were NEW.
Like the way the tires ride and handle
Cannot find a better priced tire anywhere
So far in snow and ice the tires have gotten me where I need to be safely, I especiallg like the treadwear rating of 500 for decent softness for grip in all seasons, I currently have the tires on my wife’s 07 g6 coupe and they grip very nicely, very satisfied with the price, speed of shipping, everything.
Handles wonderful BUTT
I was told. "because the tires are new and have a lot of tread, my milage actually will go down." Will keep checking because I just had Nitrogen put in the tries, the a/c was on and I did a lot of High speed and stop and go driving.
Definitely a cut above!
Tires are on a 2008 Prius. After Goodyears, Michelins and Bridgestones, I think these are the best balance of performance, fuel economy, rain handling and, they are quiet to boot. Tires are too new to evaluate wear, but, regardless, they are excellent tires.
Couldn't be any better!
I've been buying mostly Contis for my cars since 1972, and none has ever disappointed me. I'm happy to say that my new Conti TrueContact 225/55R19s for my 2014 Dodge Journey R/T are the BEST OF THE BEST. Best tires I've ever put on my car. Their braking, quiet operation, handling, ride, fuel economy improvement are all improved as Continental claimed they would. My car's handling is transformed for the better. Thank you, Tires-Easy.com, for making this a simple, fast and smooth transaction. Had the tires installed locally by Palmetto Tires of Sumter, SC and was completely happy with their service, too. I am totally pleased with the results of my purchase. My decision to continue to drive Contis has been vindicated. I'm a happy driver!
Great Tire for daily driver
Great Tire for daily driver, low noise, comfortable, all-weather condition, and good thread can last years.
Excellent A+ tires
great way to love the subaru
only have a 500 miles on these tires. So far so good. Ride better than OEM continentals. very impressed with response and traction. extremely quiet tire. Tires-easy, incredible price and even got the manufacture rebate. Highly recommend. No hassels having them installed either. Excellent experience for the first time buying tires online. The first choice in buying tires in the future.
Very good tires in bad weather!
The tires and the price is awesome. I would recommend these and other Continental tires who want a nice ride and reliability.
these tire were Made in the USA

Best bang for buck!
Great tires on snow. They brake well in deep snow. I hope this tire is still around for my SUV when it's time.
