Describes the sidewall appearance. Examples: BSW= Black Side Wall, WSW = White Side Wall OWL = Outlined White Letters.
The load index (LI) is a 2 or 3 digit number that corrolates to the maximum amount of weight the tire can carry. For example, a tire with a load index of 87 indicates that the tire can carry a maximim load of 1,201 lbs. In the case of our example the 87 identifies the tires ability to carry a maximum of 1,201 lbs. So 4 tires will carry a maximum of 4,804 lbs. Refer to your vehicle owner's manual for the recommended minimim Load Index. It is not recommended to install tires with a lower Load Index. By doing so, this could cause your tires to be overloaded thus potentially causing a blowout.
Speed Ratings (SR) are based on laboratory tests and indicates the maximum speed the tire can achieve. These tests are based on limited time trials. Higher speed rating tires typically will yield better handling capabilities, but may often result in lower mileage. Refer to your vehicle owner's manual for the recommended minimum Speed Rating. It is not recommended to install a tire with a lower speed rating as it could affect the handling of your vehicle. It is important to note that speed ratings only apply to tires that have not been damaged, altered, under-inflated or overloaded. Additionally, most tire manufacturers maintain that a tire that has been cut or punctured no longer retains the tire manufacturer's original speed rating, even after being repaired because the tire manufacturer can't control the quality of the repair.
|Load Range/Ply Rating||Not Available||
Ply Rating is related to the max load capacity. This value can be defined with a letter or number. The higher the number/letter, the higher the load capacity.
To help consumers evaluate their tires, the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) created the Uniform Tire Quality Grading System (UTQG). The UTQG rates tires are rated on their tread-wear, traction performance, and temperature resistance. The grade for each of these can be found on the sidewall of your tire (except for winter tires and certain light truck tires). Click here for more information.
|Max Single Load(lbs)||1709||The maximum load this tire will support. Remember to multiply this number by the number of tires installed on your vehicle to get the maximum carrying capacity. This number is directly related to the Load Index.|
|Max Single Air Pressure(PSI)||50||The maximum air pressure this tire will support. This does not represent the amount of air pressure your tires should have at all times. Consult with your owner's manual to determine the best air pressure you should use for your vehicle.|
|Tread Depth||13.0||The amount of tread on the tire. Once the tire is worn to 2/32nds, it is considered fully used and should be replaced at that time. Most tires will have tire indicators in the grooves of the tire to help you determine when the tires are worn down to 2/32nds.|
|Tread Design||Not Available||
Nondirectional - most common, same tread pattern on inside & outside of the tire. Can be rotated to all four corners of vehicle. Asymmetrical - tread pattern is different on the inside to the outside of the tire, and must be mounted properly. Can be rotated to all four corners of the vehicle. Directional tires - roll in only one direction, must be mounted properly. Once mounted they must remain on the same side of the vehicle, and only be rotated front to rear.
|Rim Width Range||6.0-7.0||The approved wheel rim width range this tire will support.|
|Measured Rim Width||6.5||The recommended wheel width as recommended by the tire manufacturer to get the best wear us performance for this tire.|
|Section Width||8.7||The measurement from sidewall to sidewall.|
|Tread Width||6.8||The measurement from one side of the tread to the other side of the tread.|
|Overall Diameter||26.1||The height of the tire when fully inflated.|
|Manufacturer Part Number||87AH6A||Manufacturer part number (sku)|

Best bang for the buck
I live in Wisconsin and these tires are surprisingly amazing. For the price i paid, i thought i was going to get a low end, low performance snow tire. Looking at the treads its totally different from the more expensive brand tires, its soft and flexible tread blocks mimics tractionized tires. If you dont know what that is, Look it up. Its what people do to tires to maximize grip in the snow. Pros: these tires are well priced and they grip very well in the snow as intended. Cons: vehicle feels squishy on dry pavement with the tread blocks flexing. Usual winter tire road noise. Every year i get on the frozen lake and participate in driving events to test out my tires and driving skills. So far Ive used Nokian Nordman, General Altimax Arctic, Bridgestone Blizzaks, Michelins Ice x, and Champiro ice pro. When I buy a specific tire for it’s intended use, I want the best results. Would I recommend these tires? Absolutely!
Great grip, and Quiet!
These tires seem to have great hold on the snow and ice, but most important, they do not make your vehicle sound like a semi truck going down the road.
Very nice tire for the price
Have them on a Nissan juke goes great in the snow. Got 9" and had no problems as long as your not giving too much gas, didn't even spin
Well worth the money
Just put the tires on and they handle nice. Should be good for the winter.
Good budget tire
This tire has excellent grip in dry conditions and light rain, as far as lasting very long not so good
Quality snow tires at a great price
Tires are round, easily balanced and quiet. Quality comparable to snow tires of premium brands. Extremely good snow/ice traction at a surprisingly low price point.
GREAT snow/ice tire
For this price I couldn’t find a better deal. Fast shipping, too. And, the manufacture date was just 6 months prior to purchase.
Tires are fantastic
Was a little skeptical at first because of the amazing price, but as soon as I received the tires (super quickly by the way) all my worries drifted away. The quality is terrific. They were nicer than I had expected. I will always order tires from GIGA-TIRES from here on out!!
Great tires for snow conditions
These tires have been impressive on performance on snowy roads. The vehicle that I put them on is front wheel drive and they have made a big difference compared to the all season tires the vehicle has last winter. The price of these tires are affordable and I recommend them.
These tires are awesome
Put these on a Ford Fiesta that could barely move in a dusting of snow. We received multiple snowfalls of 4” + and with these tires the car walked out of our driveway (which is uphill) and didn’t even spin.
Excellent traction very quiet ride
I bought these tires because of the price and they're pretty amazing.
Awesome winter tires!!
These are incredible winter tires, especially considering the price. I am in Colorado so winter is a mix of everything from freezing rain, sleet, slush, powder, and packed snow which quickly becomes ice. I have driven these tires in all of those conditions and felt extremely safe and secure. The tires are also surprisingly quiet. I used to put studded tires on my Camry every winter but decided to use these without studs. I was impressed. This is my first year using these tires so I will need to see how they hold up over the next several years. I will likely drive about 3-5000 miles on these tires each winter and hope they last for 5 winters without any noticeable change in handling and operation.
Great tires, great service!
Great tread, smooth at speed, hoping to get another set for the wife.
So far so good
The tires feel smooth and grip really well. I drove through a very nasty storm and super icy roads driving back into CO and I felt very secure.
TIRES ARE GREAT
GREAT TIRES FOR THE PRICE. WOULD BUY AGAIN
Great tires for low cost
I've had these tires on for a couple months now and it surprised me at how hood they actually are for the cost. They provide great traction in snowstorms. They are pretty soft and I have noticed that some cold mornings when I first take off it seems like they maybe have a flat spot, but it takes maybe a mile to get some heat in them and for them to soften up and the flat spot is gone. That being the only issue I've had with them, and you should kind of expect that with really soft compound tires, I will definitely buy these again. I really don't believe you can beat these tires with anything in the same price range. Even some more expensive tires I've had don't perform as good.
They grip like no tire I've used!
Great price, easy delivery, and they work like a charm! Highly recommend
I was impressed with these tires when they were first delivered. After I had them put on in November I was almost anxious for snow. It was slow in coming but when it finally did I couldn't wait to give them a run. They really did a great job of gripping and keep me moving effortlessly. On top of that, I always know that my mileage drops when driving on 4 snows, but really not so much with these tires. Not quite as good as my all seasons, but great none the less.
Wife loves them and they are quiet
Exactly what I wanted
Nice tires for a fair price
Best snow tires i ever owned
Finally had a snow storm. Tires work great. Hills are no problem, ice no problem. I would buy these again. Very satisfied.
Good bang for the buck.
Good tire in the dry very good in snow and wet.
When the $hit hits the fan, these tires rock!
These hoops went on an old cop cruiser circa 2007. We had super cold, massive ice and snow for about two weeks straight. The old dog fired up every morning and the tires moved that RWD V-8 all around town through it all. I even laughed at a Mercedes with 'AWD' as I passed it... He couldn't even get moving lmao. So, get you some a these!
